New FAVORITE website!

Nasty Gal. Literally, everything on the website looks like it was made for me. Granted, it is a bit pricey, for me anyways, so it would definitely be a purchase-one-item-at-a-time deal. Everything seems to be somewhere between $50 and $200.

LOVE.

Update-Schmupdate

Hey guys! I haven't posted much lately except for my last winter fashion trends post. I've been really busy but I haven't forgotten about good ol' MonkeyFab. Summary of the last couple months:

-I went as Robert the Doll for Halloween. I also went as a pin-up sailor girl because my bff wanted me to be something pretty with her (she was Rachel Zoe). We had a great little mini-party at my house--candy, movies, games, etc. You can see pics from that epic event here.
-I have a newfound love for Lady GaGa. I am completely obsessed with her. The video for 'Bad Romance' literally melted my brain it was so good. I am an eternal superfan. I think she's a complete genius. And that VMA performance? AMAZEY.

-I did a couple new YouTube videos. I haven't been posting them on here because the bandwidth gets frigged up.
Here is a look I did inspired by GaGa's FLARE cover, and here is a Halloween-y, fall-y tutorial on Pretty Candy Corn Eyes.

So yeah. OH these are my marvelous tuxedo nails I just did tonight:

So keep in touch; as always you can follow me on my Twitter for more frequent and random updates. <333

Favorite Winter Fashion Trends

1. Obviously, BOOTS. Platform boots, stilleto boots, ankle boots, fringed boots, motorcycle boots...I love me a boot. Forever 21's selection has been gorgeous this year, so if you're on a budget check them out. Some of my faves from F21 and Asos:

(Dune Jacquard Zip Strap Platform Boot, $261.63, ASOS; French Connection Sanora Tie Detail Pull On, $261.63, ASOS; Studded Suedette Boots, $29.80, Forever 21; Suedette Ankle Boot, $27.80, Forever 21)

2. Lots of metal hardware, like zippers and studs.

(Studded Elastic Belt, $6.80, Forever 21; Urban Studded Bootie, $26.80, Forever 21; Side Zipper Leatherette Skirt, $17.80, Forever 21)

3. Pleather. Jackets, leggings, vests, shoes...the biker look is so hot right now (Hansel). I always go with pleather because a) I'm a vegetarian and b) it's way cheaper. I just got the most amazing Guess pleather vest at Macy's and I literally live in it.

(KooKai Leather Legging, $244.19, ASOS; Military Faux Leather Jacket, $38.90, Forever 21; Biker Style Vest, $22.80, Forever 21; ASOS ATOMIC Studded Ankle Boot, $130.81, ASOS)

4. TIGHTS! All summer long, I anticipate fall and winter when I can wear all of my fabulous tights. I love tights. I'm a sucker for tights. I think that black tights make anyone's legs look 384279 times better. I'm obsessed with crazy patterned tights and fishnets.

ASOS Heart Sheer Tights, $13.95, ASOS; House of Holland For Pretty Polly The Mock Stockings, $17.44, ASOS; ASOS Silver Glitter Tights, $17.44, ASOS)

5. Glitter, sequins, and metallics! I just came to the realization that when shopping, if I see something that sparkles my gut reaction is to veer toward it. As it should be! As long as you're not overdoing it, sparkles and shine can only make an outfit better. I just got a silver sequin blazer at Marshall's that I can't get enough of.Paul's Boutique ASOS Exclusive Metallic Charlotte Bag, $47.99, ASOS; Costume Dept. Sequin Circles Leggings, $201.08, ASOS; 5.16 Elongated Shoulder Sequin Panel Dress, $347.32, ASOS; By Berman Sequin Party Dress, $96.88, ASOS; Glitter Rose Ring, $3.80, Forever 21)

More to come, loves!
